I was working for a Business owner Fred. His business was dealing in gents’ shoes, wallets and watches. The business was called Kings Crown Boutique. It was located on Station House opposite Uganda Railway. I worked for him for 3 years from 2010-2013. My boss sold the business to me, and he joined the army. So, my uncle added to my small saving and bought the business. The business was small, and we were renting a partition in a shop.
When the business started growing slowly, I decided to change its name and registered it as G- fashions Ltd in 2015. I also changed the place, I rented my own shop and stopped sub-renting.
I have managed to acquire youth loans from our local bank called Centenary Bank for 3 times for about four years. I have seen God working in my business and wanted to serve my community through this business. After looking at various opportunities, we started helping the School of the Blind in Buyukwe District. I normally visit this school once a year during my birthday. We celebrate together my birthday. I buy bread, clothes, soap, sugar, shoes and I share my happiness with them.
G- Fashion also supports the upcoming Gospel artists through Blessed Gospel Promotion BGP Events & JJ Medical Centre at Nansana. The business supports them financially in shooting their videos, organizing concerts to mention but a few.
Through doing this God has blessed my business, I get customers and I see it expanding every day. He has connected and given me exposure. I was also among the people who were able to get a loan from B4T investments Uganda Ltd. I thank God for that.
